RICK OWENS' DRKSHDW EPHEMERE STORE

When Rick Owens first launched his second line DRKSHDW in 2005, the designer’s goal was to bring in new customers with a more-affordable collection, reinterpreting his famously emotive and dark pieces in denim and knitwear for both men and women. He’s sure to win over even more fans starting tomorrow, when the first of two planned temporary shops for the line opens in Soho. Located at 70-72 Wooster Street, the “Ephemere” store, as Owens refers to it, will be the brand’s first freestanding store and promises a more inviting shopping experience than the strict rigor of his main line’s flagship Hudson Square. A second location is set to open in London at 30A Redchurch Street on September 4. Both temporary shops will carry the men’s and women’s fall collections, as well as hats, bags, shoes, and other exclusive pieces.

DRKSHDW will be open tomorrow through October 26 at 70-72 Wooster Street, New York.
