Scott Sternberg keeps good company, and looks good doing it. In a cutthroat fashion landscape, Sternberg somehow manages to always keep it cool. The former Hollywood agent debuted his Band of Outsiders Fall 2011 collection this fashion week in New York, and his classic California look traveled well. Models rappelled from the ceiling, Momofuku Milk Bar cookies were served, and the Native-American inspired graphics were well-received. But perhaps the most buzz-worthy Band moment of the season was the Polaroids of Kirsten Dunst and James Marsden featured in the brand’s Spring lookbook. It’s no surprise that Sternberg snaps the images himself—not only are the photos beautiful, they exude a playfulness and ease that both he and the brand are known for. Scott spoke with me recently about his newest leading couple.
