For the thirteenth issue of The Last Magazine, we escaped the cold East Coast to shoot cover model, Andreea Diaconu in dreamy, colorful L.A with the help of photographer Jeff Burton. Features include singer-songwriter Hozier who asked us to forgive him for not always writing sad songs (we did), artist Pieter Vermeersch displays ethereal abstractions that are reminiscent of the sky at dusk, and Melissa Gamwell speaks about her gilded sculptures of domestic objects. Photography includes a version of “The Last Supper” shot and collaged by Dan Martensen, Maciek Kobielski captures Marissa’s natural beauty and we hit the streets decked out in Marc by Marc Jacobs for a shoot with Nick Dorey.
