HANNAH MURRAY'S BEAUTY PICKS

The dedicated makeup artist and Topshop’s exclusive beauty consultant offers up her go-to makeup products fresh from her latest job.

Kiko Milano Scrub & Peel
“Meant for the face, but I use purely on the lips—these have saved countless close-up beauty emergencies. Wrap the wipe around your index finger and use a circular motion to gently buff away those unsightly, flaky, parched lips. Follow with a nourishing lip balm.”

Decléor Aromessence Néroli
Skin is the most important part for me, so I take time to really nourish and pamper it. This oil is soothing, smells divine, and with a good massage brings the blood to the surface and really plumps the skin. I often lose a bottle to the models at the end of the day as they love it so much!

Decléor Aroma Purete
Following the neroli oil, I use this to balance and hydrate the skin for a soft, refined, matte finish. I love to really see the skin and the inner glow, so this means that I can stay away from powder as much as possible.

NARS Radiance Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 35 Sunscreen
A new addition to the kit, I’m loving this! Especially on dull, lackluster skin, this instantly revives and freshens the complexion and has the added bonus of making makeup last longer.

Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate
An everyday staple I couldn’t live without! The highlighter side gives that effortless, polished glow with a simple pat of the fingers (apply to cheekbones, down the nose, inner corners of eyes, and Cupid’s bow). And the dark color washed onto the eyelids is a sexy way to give tone and depth to the eyes without looking like you have anything on.

Topshop Cheek Jelly
Probably one of my proudest creations for Topshop, these little pots of jam-like blush give the freshest “I just hiked across the hills in the rain” glow. I use these on pretty much every shoot and on myself.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover
I use this purely as a concealer as it is quite heavy, but it works amazingly on blemishes and any redness and stays all day. I tend to dilute it with a touch of cream on the back of my hand if I want less coverage and often that’s all I do for base, forgoing foundation for a more fresh, scrubbed, effortless finish.

Topshop Kajal Kohl Liner
This gives the perfect sexy, lived-in, kohl-rimmed eye in seconds. You can also use it for the quickest smoky eye, building and blending out the intensity to your desire.

MAC Cream Colour Base
I love these for adding texture and tone to a look. Teamed with a bold matte lip and scrubbed fresh skin, it’s one of my all-time favorite looks.

MAC Studio Eye Gloss
I love these applied to the center of the eyelid or the inner corner of the eyes for a high-octane, wet effect. It takes a look to the next level and photographs beautifully. They have an orange one that I’m obsessed with!

MAC Lipmix
These are genius for creating a bespoke matte color for the lips. Beautiful pushed on with your finger for a slightly diffused effect or painted on for the ultimate bold, punchy lip.

NARS Audacious Lipstick
Love the creamy, opaque texture, and their slightly “off” Seventies colors and Ninteties grunges are totally my world.

Q-tips
Always at hand, I use these with a touch of cream to neaten liquid liner and lipstick, or to smudge out makeup for a more imperfect finish.
