ALEXA CHUNG FOR AG
British TV personality, model, and author Alexa Chung’s laid-back tomboy look has inspired yet another collaboration, this time with global denim and lifestyle brand AG Jeans. Chung has described the twenty-piece collection, named Alexa Chung for AG, as “the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe,” which include perfectly cut mod dresses, button-up miniskirts, high-waisted jeans, and overalls in a variety of vintage washes, keeping in line with Chung’s signature late Sixties-early Seventies æsthetic. The collection also includes perfect-fit tees, an embroidered denim shirt, as well as sweaters bearing the phrase “J’ai du vague à l’âme,” (loosely, “I have melancholy”).
The campaign, shot by Angelo Pennetta and styled and modeled by Chung herself, captures the effortless, vintage feel of the collection against a dreamy Los Angeles backdrop. Fittingly, Chung collaborated with director Gia Coppola and producer Dev Hynes on a video promoting the collection, in which she performs a karaoke rendition of—what else?—Stevie Nicks’ “Blue Denim.”
Alexa Chung for AG is available starting today at AG Jeans stores and online at AGJeans.com.
