THE LAST PEOPLE – ELOISA FONTES AND JONATHAN HENRI SANTOS

Ever since we began back in 2008, we have worked with photographer David Mushegain every issue to bring you a collection of some of the raddest people from all around the world. David shoots and gets to know the young kids he meets on his travels, through his friends, or just walking down the street, and we are always happy to share his discoveries with you. I was in São Paulo shooting and was on the search for a few beautiful locals. Jardel at Way Models told me I had to meet Eloisa Fontes. I met Eloisa and Jardel was right, I did have to meet her. She is super super cool and super sexy and so fun to shoot. I think she has to be one of the best models in São Paulo right now. I think she’s going to come to NY in the new year, so I am sure we will see more of her. She comes from Alagoas in Brazil and has been living in São Paulo for nine months now. I went to her house to photograph her and that’s where I met her boyfriend Jonathan. Eloisa had gone out shopping for some new underwear so Jonathan took me down the street to get some lunch while we waited for her. Jonathan was born in Belgium and came to Rio when he was eleven years old. He had returned to Europe to serve in the Foreign Legion in France and recently came back to Brazil to live and work as a model. Eloisa and Jonathan are kind of the hot model couple. They’re both super sweet and super chill. I just really liked them a lot and wanted to write about them and share with you. I took this photo on the street outside their house in São Paulo.
