THE LAST PEOPLE – LAUREN BEJAOUI AND KELLIE ANDREWS

Ever since we began back in 2008, we have worked with photographer David Mushegain every issue to bring you a collection of some of the raddest people from all around the world. David shoots and gets to know the young kids he meets on his travels, through his friends, or just walking down the street, and we are always happy to share his discoveries with you. Our weekly postings of David’s Last People continue right here.

DUBLIN DUBLIN DUBLIN. Lauren Bejaoui and Kellie Andrews are two of Dublin’s finest. I will tell you right now they have awesome style and are super cool. Lauren is sixteen and a student and “unsigned model.” That’s how she put it. She started modeling when she was fourteen mainly for blogs like “FucknFilthy” and collabs with brands like Lazy Oaf. Right now she’s working with stylists and has her sights set on getting out of Dublin when she turns eighteen to start a fashion career. Her partner-in-crime Kellie never sent me her email about herself so what should I say? Kellie is radical. She knows how to dress and she looks super cool in front of the camera. Lauren and Kellie both have such good and fun energy. They are always posting the raddest photos on their Facebooks. I love checking them out. I seriously cannot wait to get back to Dublin to hang with everyone. I can’t really deal with the cold weather so that makes it a bit tricky. Although I have to say I only saw sunshine when I was there in October. Global warming. I just remembered the last night I hung out with everyone. Flea from the Chili Peppers had come to meet us for some fish and chips. It was so cool. We had a whole crew. Like fifteen kids all crammed into the chip shop. Was such a fun vibe. Flea was asking them questions about life in Dublin and I was eating everyone’s fish and chips cause I love fish and chips. We went outside and there was some Irish music coming from the pub next door and I think Flea and a few of the kids started dancing. We took a group photo together. It was so sweet. I love it. Ireland has heart. Ireland has soul. Much love. We took this photo on the bridge that connects one side of town to the other. It was super crowded but I like the light. We managed to get a couple frames. This was one of them. They’re so beautiful right? xx
