THE LAST SPACE OPENING NIGHT

On the first night of fashion week, The Last Magazine celebrated the opening of The Last Space at Openhouse Gallery, with a raucous party featuring a performance by Ex Cops. As James Penfold DJ-ed the rest of the evening, guests—including Phillip Lim, Maryna Linchuk, Janie Taylor, Teresa Reichlen, Haidee Findlay-Levin, Justin Peck, Johan Renck, and Jason Carroll—wandered through the exhibition space, flipping through the new issue and sipping Red Bull Vodka’s. Artwork and clothing featured in our pages were presented in real-life, along with the customized I Love New York t-shirts seen on Joan Smalls last spring. A quick walk through the light rain led to the afterparty at Red Egg, where we were joined by Alexander Skarsgård and Johan Lindeberg, and we danced until the early hours of the morning, getting ready for the week ahead.
